My husband and I love to visit different cities and always try to find a Thai food restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh and the fried rice was cooked to perfection. There were not that many people in the restaurant which I cannot understand but I appreciate being seated quickly. The next time we are in New London we will definitely dine again!

So I've been meaning to check out this place for a while. Stopped in for lunch. I'll say, without a doubt, they serve the freshest and most gigantic sushi rolls I've ever eaten in my entire life. I was beyond impressed. They really let the fish speak for itself. The people are really wonderful here, and the prices are incredibly affordable. Definitely an amazing spot for lunch. I gotta try more stuff on their menu. As far as atmosphere goes, it's not a bougie restaurant. It's for us regular folks who want a great place to go to where we can be ourselves and eat great food.

Awesome spot for an earlier Friday dinner. We arrived around 545 and were sat immediately. The menu is huge with something for everyone! We had the chicken Satay appetizer and it came with a delicious peanut sauce (words I never thought I'd say). My partner order the drunken noodles which were some of the best she has ever had. I had my first Maduro cucumber roll and it was a game changer, opened my eyes to a new food to drool over! The service we received was top tier. Very attentive and the food was ready before we expected it! We will definitely be returning.

Great food all around, loved the kow soi and the chicken satay, and both the sunset and spider rolls! Excellent service as well

Kin D is my favorite restaurant in New London county. They have been incredibly accommodating and have provided outstanding service since the day I walked in, and the dozens of times I’ve ordered their food since. The food is 8.5/10 for quality and taste. 9/10 for price. The cooks really care about the presentation of their dishes and it shows. I’ve never been upset with any of their menu items. I order curry duck at least once a week. The restaurant is clean, safe and enjoyable to be inside. If I order takeout I typically do it there and wait inside to enjoy their peaceful atmosphere. The inside is quiet like a cafe with a decorative sushi bar. You will not find a friendlier staff around. The restaurant and staff deserve an award, truly.

Easily the best sushi I’ve had in Groton, New London, or Waterford - and I’ve shopped around. The chef cuts the fish really thick and is very fresh. The plating also looks really nice - I forgot to take pictures though. But I will next time for you. I’ll be back!

We were on a family dine-out after the holiday and were planning on checking out a different sushi restaurant in New London which was not open so we ended up here. And it was absolutely an amazing hit! We first were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary spring roll as we were seated. We ordered a few appetizers, couple of special rolls, their lover boat, and finished with a few deserts. Everything was surplus in quality, very fresh, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. The lover boat was a blast to everyone when it came and was an absolutely upscaled experience to have sushi and sashimi served on the boat. Checkout the photos. Their deserts were great and our favorite winner is the sticky rice with mangoes. Everyone in the family from 6 to 65 had a wonderful time dining there. Would definitely recommend and would come back next time when we are looking out for sushi time again.
